This component aims to provide learners with in-depth, detailed and advanced scholarship of the Islamic intellectual tradition. During this component, a detailed study of Quranic Exegesis (Tafsir) and Hadith literature is undertaken by learners. Texts studied in this component includes the six canonical books of Hadith (Al-Kutub al-Sittah). Emphasis is placed on giving learners an understanding of comparative law exploring evidences and arguments from the different Maddhahib (schools of thought).

Entry Requirements
- Applicants must have completed the Comprehensive Islamic Studies course or similar.
- Applicants must be able to dedicate to the course learning hours and be passionate about studying in-depth Islamic sciences.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be awarded with a certificate in Advanced Islamic Scholarship receiving their Shahadah Al-‘Alimiyyah (Licence in Islamic Scholarship).
On-site
Sisters: 6:15pm – 8-45pm
Brothers: 6:45pm – 9:30pm
Learners must be available for occasional seminars on weekends arranged with prior notice.
Fees for the academic year is £840*.
This can be paid:
- Annually: With a onetime payment of £840
- Termly: With four payments of £210 to be paid on the first day of the term
- Monthly: With twelve payments of £70 to be paid on the first Monday of each calendar month
