This component aims to equip learners with a capacity to read, write, speak and understand the Arabic language. It focuses on the study of syntax (nahw) and morphology (sarf) whilst expanding the learner’s vocabulary. Arabic language has long been a gateway to access the Islamic sciences.
This is a two-year part-time course.

Entry Requirements
- Applicants must be above the age of 15 (exceptions may be made through assessment).
- Applicants must have basic Arabic (Quran) reading ability.
- Applicants must possess a drive to continue studying Arabic.
Learning Outcomes
- Intermediate level knowledge of grammar, syntax and morphology.
- Ability to read and understand Arabic texts (with study aid)
- Ability to make converse on a wide range of day-to-day topics
Upon successful completion of this course, learners will be awarded with a diploma in Arabic Intensive. This accreditation will allow the learners to enrol onto our Comprehensive Islamic Studies course.
On-site
Sisters: 6:15pm – 8-45pm
Brothers: 6:45pm – 9:30pm
Learners must be available for occasional seminars on weekends arranged with prior notice.
Fees for the academic year is £780*.
This can be paid:
- Annually: With a onetime payment of £780
- Termly: With four payments of £195 to be paid on the first day of the term
- Monthly: With twelve payments of £65 to be paid on the first Monday of each calendar month
